PI UFL interface reads data from various ASCII stream data sources. This modular concept is built on the functionality division – the core part of the interface does the stream parsing and data forwarding to PI, while the actual data reading, which is proprietary to each data source, is implemented in dynamically loaded libraries (DLLs).
