GrowFX is a plug-in for Autodesk 3ds Max allowing you to build any plants and trees. You can do it by distributing either by specified start points, or from a surface of an object. In case of distribution from an object surface, values of some parameters can be controlled by texture maps. For example, maps can control density of plants, height of plants, etc.
