It attributes memory per application and per browser or Electron renderer, so "Chrome, 34 processes, peak 5.4 GB" is one row instead of thirty-four, and it shows current against peak. Threshold rules let you set a per-app memory ceiling and choose what happens when it is crossed: notify, suspend, or gently restart.
