Pi has been calculated to over one million decimal places on Mac using this app. The advent of digital computers in the 20th century led to breakthroughs in P calculations. In 1949, John von Neumann et al. used ENIAC to compute 2037 digits of Pi in 70 hours. Subsequent decades saw the calculation of thousands more decimal places.
